  • Breakthrough T1D

    Breakthrough T1D

Not Just Brunch was born in 2021 from a simple yet powerful vision: to create a space where women could gather in grace, support one another, and grow into the fullness of who they are daughters, mothers, sisters, wives, friends, and leaders. Four years later, this community stands stronger than ever, rooted in love, faith, and accountability.

This year, our annual celebration is about more than just togetherness, it is about purpose. We’ve partnered with Breakthrough Type 1 Diabetes, formerly known as The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) to raise $100,000 for the fight to cure Type 1 Diabetes.

This cause is deeply personal to me. I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at just 6 years old. Living with T1D has taught me strength, resilience, and the power of support. It’s a daily journey, one that doesn’t take breaks and it’s why I believe in the mission of Breakthrough T1D. Their research gives hope to millions of families, including mine.

Being part of Not Just Brunch reminds me that we are never alone. Just like this sisterhood uplifts women to thrive in their truth, Breakthrough T1D gives people with T1D the chance to live full, empowered lives.

Help us turn faith into action. Donate today and stand with Not Just Brunch, with me, and with the millions of others pushing for a future without Type 1 Diabetes.

Together, we are stronger. Together, we make a difference.

  • Mani Adams Foundation

    Mani Adams Foundation

NJB proudly donated to the Mani Foundation in support of our shared commitment to ending gun violence and creating safer communities for women and families.

At Not Just Brunch (NJB), we believe in creating a world where women, families, and communities can thrive in safety and peace. That’s why we proudly donated to the Mani Adams Foundation, an organization devoted to preventing gun violence and supporting families affected by its devastating impact.

Our contribution reflects NJB’s firm stance on advocacy, awareness, and healing — especially in communities disproportionately affected by violence. The Mani Adams Foundation honors the memory of lives lost and turns tragedy into action through education, community outreach, and policy engagement.

NJB’s donation supports the foundation’s efforts to:

    • Raise awareness about the impact of gun violence through storytelling and events
    • Support grieving families with counseling, resources, and community
    • Educate youth on conflict resolution, resilience, and peaceful leadership
    • Advocate for change in policies that protect lives and promote safer communities

This partnership goes beyond charity — it’s an act of solidarity. Together, we’re helping break the cycle of violence and building stronger, more conscious communities.

    Join us in this mission.

Together, we stand for peace, healing, and justice.

  • Dallas LIFE Homeless Shelter

    Dallas LIFE Homeless Shelter

A faith-based recovery shelter in Dallas, Texas, providing food, housing, and long-term rehabilitation for individuals and families facing homelessness.
Not Just Brunch donated over 150 coats and hoodies during our annual Winter Drive to support the residents of Dallas LIFE.

At Not Just Brunch (NJB), giving back is woven into everything we do. That’s why we’re honored to support the incredible work of Dallas LIFE Homeless Shelter, an organization committed to restoring dignity, stability, and purpose to those experiencing homelessness.

Our recent donation reflects NJB’s core values of compassion, community, and collective empowerment. Dallas LIFE is not just a shelter — it’s a recovery-oriented facility that provides men, women, children, and veterans with a clear path from crisis to self-sufficiency.

By supporting Dallas LIFE, our contribution helps fund:

    • Safe housing and daily essentials for individuals and families in need
    • Job readiness programs and life skills training
    • Faith-based recovery services and emotional support
    • Educational opportunities to break cycles of poverty and homelessness

This partnership is more than a gesture — it’s a powerful reminder that with compassion and coordinated care, transformation is possible.

Through NJB’s donation, we aim to shine a light on the value of second chances and the strength found in community.

  • Sickle Cell Disease Foundation

    Sickle Cell Disease Foundation

A nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of individuals living with sickle cell disorder through care, awareness, and research.

At Not Just Brunch (NJB), we believe in more than gathering — we believe in giving. In keeping with our mission to empower women and uplift communities, NJB is proud to have donated $10,000 to the Sickle Cell Disease Foundation (SCDF) in support of individuals and families affected by this life-altering condition.

Sickle cell disease is a genetic blood disorder that disproportionately affects communities of color, especially within the African diaspora. It causes chronic pain, organ damage, and complications that can deeply impact daily life. Unfortunately, due to limited resources and awareness, many living with sickle cell struggle to access quality care, support, and research breakthroughs.

Our donation supports SCDF’s tireless work in:

    • Providing care and counseling for individuals living with sickle cell
    • Advancing research aimed at better treatments and a potential cure
    • Raising awareness through education, advocacy, and community outreach
    • Empowering families with resources and hope in the face of adversity

By partnering with SCDF, NJB affirms our ongoing commitment to making a tangible difference. This contribution is more than financial — it’s a statement of love, solidarity, and action.

Together, we rise — and together, we change the world, one life at a time.
